Avi Charney is Legal Sherpa lawyer, a Notary Public and a commissioner for taking affidavits in Ontario, practicing exclusively in the areas of real estate law, corporate law and estate planning.
Avi obtained his bachelors in psychology from York University and has maintained a keen interest in psychology, self-help and psychotherapy. Avi uses his broad knowledge to assist people understand the legal and non-legal issues they face, and works to ensure client’s reach their desired destination while protecting interests all the way through.
Avi studied law at international universities. His LL.B. was obtained at the University of London and his LL.M at The Hebrew University in Jerusalem. As a lawyer in both Israel and Canada, Avi is in a position to assist clients domiciled in one country with legal issues in the other.
Avi is a student member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners and is a Member at Large in the Ontario Bar Association’s sub-committee on legal practice management.
